Built for the
Hostile Atmosphere.
Standard lights dissolve here. Our fixtures are engineered to withstand Ammonia, Sulfuric Acid, and Salt Spray. Gas-tight PMMA construction and 316L Stainless Steel for Farms, Chemical Plants, and Heavy Industry.
The “Silent Killers” of Industrial Lighting
In harsh environments, water isn’t the only threat. Invisible gasses and acidic vapors attack the molecular structure of standard plastics and metals, causing catastrophic failure within months.
Ammonia Attack
Found in: Poultry Farms, Fertilizer Plants, Refrigeration.
Ammonia causes “Stress Corrosion Cracking” in standard Polycarbonate (PC). Lenses turn cloudy and brittle, eventually shattering and exposing live wires.
Sulfur Corrosion
Found in: Paper Mills, Chemical Plants, Rubber Factories.
Hydrogen Sulfide attacks LED silver plating (sulfurization), turning the LED chips black and killing light output by 50% in weeks.
Acid & Salt Spray
Found in: Coastal Ports, Electroplating, Heavy Industry.
Salt mist creates a galvanic cell on aluminum housings, eating away the paint and causing structural failure of the mounting brackets.
The Anti-Corrosion Shield
We don’t coat standard lights; we build with resistant materials from the core. Yuanhui Harsh Environment Series uses a “PMMA + 316L” architecture.
-
PMMA (Acrylic) Housing:
Unlike Polycarbonate, PMMA is chemically inert to Ammonia and Sulfur. It remains clear and strong even after years of exposure to caustic farm fumes. -
316L Stainless Steel:
We replace standard 304 steel clips with Marine-Grade 316L (Low Carbon). The added Molybdenum content provides superior resistance to chlorides and acids. -
Sulfur-Resistant LEDs:
Our LED chips utilize gold-wire bonding (not silver) and a special silicone encapsulation to prevent sulfur gas from penetrating and blackening the light source.
Gas-Tight Sealing Technology
A standard waterproof seal stops rain, but gas molecules are 1000x smaller. We use a Continuous-Pour Polyurethane Gasket that chemically bonds to the housing, creating a hermetic seal against vapors.
Standard Rubber Gasket
Glued rubber strips peel off over time. Gas molecules penetrate the gaps, corroding the driver.
Continuous Poured Seal
Robotic liquid pouring creates a seamless, joint-free barrier. No weak points for gas entry.
Animal-Centric Lighting
For poultry and pig farms, lighting is biology. Standard PWM dimming creates invisible flicker that stresses animals (who have faster eye perception than humans), reducing growth rates and egg production.
Analog dimming technology ensures zero strobe effect even at low levels, keeping livestock calm.
We offer specific spectrums (e.g., Red-enhanced for layers, Blue-green for broilers) to stimulate natural biological cycles.
Sector-Specific Configuration
Stop Buying “Disposable” Lights
In a corrosive environment, a standard $30 Vapor Tight fixture fails in 6-8 months. The plastic clouds over, the clips rust, and the driver dies from sulfurization.
The Real Cost: Every replacement requires a lift rental, an electrician, and production downtime. Over 5 years, one “cheap” light point costs you $800+ in replacements.
Our PMMA Series is a “Fit & Forget” solution with a 5-Year Warranty, even in chemical zones.

Plant Engineer FAQ
Can this light withstand Chlorine (Swimming Pools)?
Yes. Chlorine is highly corrosive to aluminum. For swimming pools or water treatment plants, we specify our Non-Metallic Series (Full Plastic Body) combined with 316L stainless steel hardware. The PMMA body is impervious to chlorine vapors that would pit standard metals.
How do you connect the cables in a wet/corrosive area?
The cable entry is often the weak point. We provide IP68 Nylon Cable Glands that resist acid. For extreme cases, we offer pre-molded cables (1m to 5m) so your electrician makes the connection inside a safe junction box, away from the direct corrosive source.
What is the difference between 304 and 316L Stainless Steel?
Type 304 is standard “food grade” but will rust in coastal or high-chloride environments. Type 316L contains 2% Molybdenum, which drastically improves corrosion resistance to chlorides (salt) and industrial acids. Yuanhui Harsh Environment fixtures strictly use 316L for all external clips and screws.
